Cómo utilizar más de 4 GB de memoria en Vista 32 Bits

Los sistemas de 32 bits pueden manejar con estabilidad hasta un total de 4 GB de memoria RAM. Luego de ese límite pueden dejar de funcionar correctamente, ya que el sistema pierde eficiencia a la hora de administrar los recursos.

Si has comprado 4 o más GB de memoria RAM, lo recomendable es pasarse a la versión de 64 bits del Windows Vista, para que todo funcione a la perfección.

Pero si no deseas pasar a esta versión, puedes realizar una pequeña acción para que el sistema de 32 bits maneje adecuadamente más de 4 GB de memoria.

1- Accede al “cmd” mediante la barra de búsqueda. Para realizar esto, escribe cmd.

2- Escribe BCDEdit /set PAE forceenable

Al escribir esto habrás habilitado al sistema para que maneje mayor cantidad de memoria física, mediante la función Physical Address Extension (PAE).
