Oficial: el ASUS Eee PC llegará a España el 26 de mayo y desde 299 €
Se terminó el tiempo de espera, el 26 de mayo llega a España el nuevo monarca de los miniportátiles, el EeePC.
Después de cierta especulación acerca de su arribo, y a pesar de que Airis se ha adelantado con su Kira, Asus lanza su maquina de siete pulgadas a un precio de 299 euros, en su versión Linux.
De momento, y a diferencia de lo que sucede en paÃses como Francia, no existen acuerdos con operadoras para venderlo por menos precio, por lo tanto a finales de mayo podrás comprar el Eee PC 701 en Mieee.
Este modelo cuenta con âchipsetâ Intel, 512Mb de RAM y 4Gb de memoria Flash. Además, estará disponible con dos sistemas operativos, con Windows XP por 329 euros y con Linux por 299 euros.
Practico y dinámico, está pensado para llevarlo de un lugar a otro, pesa menos de un kilo, cabe en una mano, sus dimensiones son de 22,5 x 16 x 2cm.
También cuenta con una pantalla LCD de 7â? con webcam integrada. El fabricante asegura que tiene tres horas de autonomÃa de baterÃa.

Yes, this is the way things go in this country, by the time something like this reaches Spain, abroad geeks are playing with spaceships.
Not just that, if we talk about telcom companies, well, Spain is at the bottom of the list,(thanks to Telefonica) in prices and in services, just to give you a clue I pay 70€/month for a 3 gb adsl that can upload at 256.
